Integration of older technology like Cyber 750 (file transfer, remote login) and up-to-date technology (SUN Sparc, Cromemco). Administration of 40 workstations and terminals. Porting of essential tools for engineering needs like editors, plotting tools, graphic tools and documentation systems.

Development of a order entry/order tracking system based on the database system Informix using esql/c. Important design criterion was the fast and easy retrieval of any information concerning a client order, including client and order statistics. Included was the possibility of immediate fax orders from that system. The application was pure graphical with 10 X-Terminals and remote Terminals.
